-Men in Black (Release year 1997- Length 1hr 38mins- Certificate PG)
Okay so men in black. Men in Black is a great piece of history in the movie industry and was very much helped by some incredible acting by Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones really cemented those 28 Nominations and 17 Wins to make it one of the greatest movies of all time. This film follows a streetwise NYPD detective that joins a secret organisation that polices extraterrestrial affairs on earth. With a great story line and great acting I could of watched this film for another 3 hours without getting bored.- By Steven Doggett
Rating: 8/10
-Life of Pi (Release year 2012- Length 2hr 7min- Certificate PG)
I thought at first I wasn't going to like this film because Ang Lee's HULK was terrible, but this film blew me away. The 3D is amazing, if you have any small chance to see this film in 3D, do so! It amplifies the experience and turns this film from an amazing film into an spectacle. A film that other director's should look up to- By Harvey Moore

-Hotel for Dogs (Release date 2009- Length 1hr 40mins- Certificate U)
Hotel for Dogs is one of those films where you can get the family together and watch a nice easy movie and just let yourself go if you ignore the relatively poor acting from the children any age old or young would love this movie- By Steven Doggett

-The Conjuring (Release year 2013- Length 1hr 52min- Certificate 15)
This is the third film I have seen by Saw director James Wan and I have to say his films keep getting better and better, I still think that Saw is his best film but The Conjuring is his best horror film. Why? Well it did a great job, just like Insidious, at setting up atmosphere and it's setting. Those are big ticks in my book, especially when a film can scare me. This film, like Insidious before it, is scary as all hell. It lures you into a false comfort zone where you know something is going to go wrong but it doesn't when you expect it to. It then pops out when you least expect it, adding to the impact.
I think The Conjuring is the best scary film this year- By Harvey Moore

-Paranormal Activity 2 (Date Released 2010- Length 1hr 31mins- Certificate 15)
This movie is better than the first in every single way, hell it even frightened me at some points. The ending was as much as a cop out as the first and was basically a recreation of the theactrical cut ending to the the first film.
This film had a few good scares, I recommend it slightly. It makes the first film make more sence- By Harvey Moore

-The Quiet Ones (Release year 2014- Length 1hr 38mins- Certificate 15)
A well worked film that has you on the edge of your seat. That's what I would say if i had to some this film up in one sentence. This film has just the right balance of story line and jumps within doing that keeping viewers wanting more and not going for that quick toilet trip or drink refill. This is the scariest film I have seen in years and I urge any horror loving fans to go and see this film NOW because you are missing out on a great well detailed well thought out film- By Steven Doggett

This film is a Adventure- Comedy and for the date it was released the visual effects where amazing, it looked like a film from the 2000's it was that good. This is a great family film or a film for anyone who likes an adventure to the past. with many twists throughout this film it is a humorous and adventurous film.- By Steven Dogggett

A brilliant film! It's something different and very refreshing, I recommend this film the acting is amazing, it is shot brilliantly and the soundtrack is rich with different genres of music. Although the film can be a bit long-winded, this 3-hour French romance film is one of 2013's best- Harvey Moore

-Surrogates (Release year 2009- Length 1hr 29mins- certificate 12A)
When I first herd about this film I didn't have high hopes for it. As it started it was unfortunately a bit slow, but when the film got going it got very interesting and packed with action. There was some great acting by many of the actors in this film Bruce Wills, radha Mitchell and Rosamund Pike just to name a few which added a great deal to the greatness of the movie. This is a good film to watch if you are a Sci-Fi lover but can deal with a slow start- By Steven Doggett
Rating: 7/10
-Irreversible (Year released 2002- Length 1hr 37min- Certificate 18)
This film is amazing it's a unique revenge thriller drama like no other, telling the narrative in backwards chronological order. I highly recommend this film although be warned that there is a distressing scene around 45 mins through.
I don't want to tell you the narrative because it will ruin the surprise at the "End" of the film. All I can say is that when you can start a film at it's end credits going backwards and keep the whole film a mystery from me, it deserves praise. This film is not predictable, it takes what you know about film and twists it into an amazing film that is breath-taking.
The reason I started to watch this film was because Thomas Banglater, the silver helmeted half of my favourite French electronic duo Daft Punk, had composed the soundtrack. What I received from this film was not just a great soundtrack but an amazingly dark experience that will stay with me forever- By Harvey Moore
